Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra Launched in India: Price, Specifications, and Features

Following the release of Sony’s Xperia XZ Premium that took place in India last month, the company has now unveiled the Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra handset in the country.

Priced at Rs. 29,990, the Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra is now available via retail stores across the country. The handset was pushed out in Black, White, and Gold color options in India. To recall, the Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra saw a release at the MWC 2017 that took place in February at Barcelona.

Coming to design, the Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra bears a metal body with outstanding bezels at the top and bottom area. With on-screen navigation buttons, the handset comes with a single camera configuration setup at the back.

In terms of specifications, the Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra sports a 6-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display, and is powered by a 64-bit MediaTek Helio P20 octa-core SoC paired with Mali T880 MP2 900MHz GPU and 4GB RAM.

Offering 64GB of inbuilt storage, with an option to expand further via a microSD card slot (up to 256GB). The handset highlights cameras at the back and front area.

At the rear section, it comes with a 23-megapixel Exmor RS image sensor tagged with hybrid autofocus, 24mm wide-angle lens, f/2.0 aperture, 5x zoom, and HDR mode.

Bearing a 16-megapixel Exmor RS sensor at the front coupled with front flash, 23mm wide-angle lens, f/2.0 aperture, OIS, and autofocus.

Backed by a 2700mAh, the handset runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and comes with connectivity options including LTE (4G), LTE Cat6/4, GSM GPRS/EDGE (2G), and UMTS HSPA+ (3G).
