Sony, a Japanese Multinational company involved in different dimensions of technology, recently had one of its mid-tier devices – Xperia M4 Aqua spotted on Amazon with a $100 slashed from it’s original price of $300.
Sony Xperia M4 Aqua is a water and dust proof smartphone that was launched some months ago. Its features include a 5-inch IPS LCD display and 1280 by 720P resolution and graced with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core SoC.
The device is available in storage configurations of 8GB and 16GB (which can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card); we have a 13MP rear camera with a 5MP selfie shooter. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop, with a 2,400mAh irreplaceable battery that should last you most of the day on a single charge.
The Sony Aqua M4 is available in color options of White, Black, and Pink. Although, Amazon now sells the handset at $200 which was formerly at $300, the discount is only available for the 16GB model. The 8GB model would probably have a discount soon but for now, it’s still at $280.
Unfortunately, this price is only available for the US market. The international version can be purchased at $230 on Amazon while other retailers are still keen on the regular price of $300 and $349 respectively.
Sony Xperia M4 Aqua happens to be one of the devices Sony listed last month to receive the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. If for no reason at all, this should bring them a lot of customers at this discount period.
