After so many rumours linking Samsung’s Galaxy S8 to so many alleged features, the South Korean company has yet again being said to be planning to introduce Galaxy S8 in two screen sizes with one of the S8 variants getting a 5-inch display like the S7 and the other device bearing a larger 6-inch display.
Earlier rumours already tipped that Samsung is likely to drop the regular version of Galaxy S8 and introduce versions with curved display only. Now according to latest reports, Samsung’s next generation flagships are expected to come with two different screen sizes. The larger version which will feature a 6-inch display is likely to be the S8 Plus and is likely to possess a footmark similar to the Galaxy Note7.
Samsung which is reportedly working on a new design for its Galaxy S8 is expected to sport slimmer bezels compared to previous Galaxy series. Also, Samsung Galaxy series is rumoured to sport the home button which features an optical fingerprint sensor embedded right into the glass. Furthermore, the report also claims that Galaxy S8 Plus won’t come with the support S Pen Functionality.
According to earlier rumours, Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus and its edge screen variants are expected to be launched at an event set to take place in New York sometime April 2017. The smartphones are expected to feature a Y-OCTA display technology that offers nearly 1,000 units of maximum brightness and as well as providing a support functionality for Viv AI assistant.
As of now, we can’t ascertain whether or not this information is 100 percent accurate, so we’ll just have to wait until an official statement is being made by the South Korean tech giants.
