Just recently, the prices of both Samsung’s Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus devices were leaked and now fresh details about the two handsets have also managed to surface online. Going by the latest news, the devices have assessed in comparison to the reputable iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus alongside its predecessor, giving users a clear view of understanding on where both phones stand in terms of size.
What’s more, a live image has also reportedly popped up online, confirming previously rumoured designs. As if that isn’t enough, another new report is claiming that both devices were just recently certified by FCC, thereby revealing model numbers.
One Chinese tipster shared online an illustration of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus compared with the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S7, as well as the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. The Galaxy S6 had a 5.1-inch display, and the Galaxy S7 had a 5.2-inch display.
While the predecessors featured significantly smaller displays, the form factor of the Galaxy S8 with a 5.8-inch display slightly increases a little. The significant difference in display size is as a result of thin almost bezel-less nature of the upcoming handset.
While considering the fact that the iPhone 7 came with a 4.7-inch display, we can all agree that it’s way too small when compared with the Galaxy S8 that was never that big in the first place. The Galaxy S8 Plus with a 6.2-inch display, however, can compete with the likes of iPhone 7 Plus with a 5.5-inch display.
