Samsung has just recently concluded with the unveiling of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ handsets in Orchid Gray color that is been offered for Rs. 57,900 and Rs. 64,900, respectively.
Apart from this, first-time buyers are expected to receive a dual benefit offer of a free convertible wireless charger that is worth Rs. 4,499, alongside cash back of Rs. 3,000 on HDFC credit card.
As of now, the new color models are available on Flipkart, Samsung Shop, and select stores. To refresh, the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ were seen released in India back in April, with the former offered in Midnight Black and Maple Gold color options, while the latter came in Coral Blue.
Apart from the color, the specification, design, and form of the handsets remain the same. Running Android 7.0 Nougat, the handset packs a 6.2-inch Infinity display with a resolution of 1440×2960 pixels and is powered by 1.9GHz octa-core Exynos 8895 processor, paired with 4GB of RAM.
Coming to the camera department, the handsets offer a 12-megapixel primary rear camera and an 8-megapixel camera at the front for the perfect selfies.
Both devices rolled out with a 64GB inbuilt storage space that is expandable up to 256GB via a card. The smartphone is fitted with a 3500mAh non-removable battery, measures 159.50×73.40×8.10mm and weighs 173 grams.
In terms of connectivity options, the two devices come with Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, USB OTG, 3G, and 4G, as well as offering an IP68 dust, water resistance rating and a fingerprint scanner at the back.
