Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Emperor Edition to Sport 8GB of RAM, 256GB Storage: Report

There have been no ends to the leaks revealing Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Note 8 device in terms of design, form, and specification.


As per previous rumors, it was said that the Galaxy Note 8 handset will come bearing 6GB of RAM. The latest rumor, however, is claiming that there would a Galaxy Note 8 ‘’Emperor Edition.’’

The name Emperor Edition mainly points at the fact that handset will offer 8GB of RAM tagged with 256GB of internal storage.

Separately, the Galaxy Note 8 will likely be available for pre-orders in Australia starting August 25, a leaked Samsung document suggests.

Expected to first hit the South Korean and Chinese market, the 256GB internal memory model of the Galaxy Note 8 device will also roll out with a modular variant of the Galaxy Note 8 model sporting 6GB of RAM.

Rumors are also claiming that the handset will come in three color options including Black, Gray, and Blue. One recent report also claims that a deep Blue color variant will be made available later in the future.

What’s more, the Galaxy Note 8 device was previously rumored to come with a nearly bezel-less design that was offered on the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ handset.

The handset is also stated to come with a slightly bigger 6.3-inch display compared to the 6.2-inch screen that we saw on the Galaxy S8+.

Finally, we also saw rumors claiming that the upcoming Galaxy Note 8 device will likely be the first handset to bring Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 836 SoC, with a slight possibility of Google’s upcoming devices, to sport the same.
