Extending its Galaxy J7 series, Samsung has launched the Galaxy J7 Nxt handset that quietly went on sale in India this past weekend.
Priced at Rs. 11,490, the phone highlights an HD Super AMOLED display, Android Nougat OS, and a 13-megapixel rear camera.
Offered in Black and Gold color options, the handset can be purchased via the company’s website and through offline retail stores.
The dual-SIM (Micro + Micro) Galaxy J7 Nxt comes with a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED (720×1280 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM.
Running on Android Nougat, the handset offers an inbuilt storage of 16GB, that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 256GB).
At the back of the device, is a 13-megapixel camera tagged with f/1.9 aperture, autofocus and LED flash, whilst sporting a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash at the front. The handset also has the capability of recording 1080p videos at 30fps.
As per connectivity options, the device comes with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, GLONASS and much more.
It also comes with sensors onboard, such as accelerometer and proximity. The handset houses a 3000mAh battery measures 152.4×78.6×7.6 and weighs 170 grams.
To recall, Samsung released Galaxy J7 Max and Galaxy J7 Pro in India last month. Both handsets were priced at Rs. 17,900 and Rs. 20,900, respectively.
Apparently, the Galaxy J7 Max was the first device to receive the Samsung Pay Mini mobile payments feature in India, which is compatible with a handset that does not have an inbuilt NFC.
