Korean smartphone maker, Samsung has reportedly released the 2017 editions of its Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 handsets in India. Samsung, which had been hyping the devices online since last year, has finally kept to their word as the handsets were initially being launched in the Chinese market.
Now, consumers all the way in India can also expect to get the best of their A5 and A7 device. The devices are expected to be purchased via online and offline channels at a price of Rs. 28,990 and Rs. 33,490, respectively.
Samsung rolled out the two handsets, its flagship design language, adding a metal and glass body to both devices. The Galaxy A5 (2017) sports a smaller 5.2-inch FHD display, while the A7 comes with a larger 5.7-inch FHD panel. Both smartphones run on a 1.9 GHz octa-core Exynos 7 series SoC equipped with 3GB of RAM each.
The handsets also come with 32GB of inbuilt storage and 16MP camera on the back and front areas.
The main highlight of both handsets are the metal and glass bodies. The tech giants also included slight curves near the edges, similar to the Galaxy S7 device.
The two mobile devices also have a new feature, by way of an option to Flipboard. Samsung also added a feature which shows up with a swipe to the left, from the home screen.
In addition, the Samsung Galaxy A5 and A7 device are reportedly competing against handsets like the OnePlus 3T and Honor 8.
