Going by latest reports, Samsung disclosed in response to a user query that the company is making moves to introduce the Samsung Flow app to all Windows 10 PCs with next update.
Now, the South Korean electronics giants have officially revealed to the public that the Samsung Flow’s upcoming update, pegged for April, will expand its compatibility to more Galaxy handsets and Windows 10 devices.
Apparently, the Samsung Flow application is only compatible with Galaxy S6 handset and newer devices, sporting fingerprint scanners.
With the Samsung Flow application, users will be able to freely unlock their Windows 10 handsets making use of the fingerprint scanner on their smartphones. Apart from the unlocking feature, the application will also grant users to act upon their notifications within their Windows 10 PC or tablet.
What’s more, Samsung Flow app, which also works on similar lines as Apple’s Continuity feature, further lets users resume their browsing sessions on any device and allows for them to easily transfer files between from one device to the other.
With the app, users will also be able to share photos, videos and hefty documents cord. In addition, when Wi-Fi is around, the application can allow one to seamlessly connect their tablet to any phone’s mobile hotspot.
Finally, the feature is expected to made available for devices running Android 6.0 Marshmallow and later and Windows 10 devices with Creators Update, that will reportedly roll out in April. Also, the Samsung Flow app reportedly comes preloaded on Samsung’s newly launched Galaxy Book and Galaxy Tab S3 tablets.
