At the IFA event in Berlin, Taiwanese PC giant Asus unveiled a new Asus Zenwatch 3 smartwatch. The wearable comes in a circular form which is mostly adopted by OEMs flaunting three colour variants, gunmetal, silver and rose gold.
It possesses respectable specs like a 1.39” AMOLED display with 400 x 400-pixel resolution, curved Gorilla Glass protection on top, featuring the latest Snapdragon 2100 chipset, running on the latest Android Wear OS and will be available in October at the price of $255.
Much has been said about the Asus Zenwatch 3, and now another picture leaked from an unknown source showing a new Motorola square smartwatch, in words written “Motorola Confidential Property”. It looks as though the wearable was discarded for the Moto rounded 360 which was released September 2014.
The writing is located on the top bezel, coupled with a USB port at the rear and a power button on the left side. Unlike, the Moto 360 that uses a Qi charging dock and has a dial in place of the power button. Furthermore, there is a rubber flap covering the port, looks as though the watch is waterproof.
From this reports, it seems likely that Motorola intended to launch the square face smartwatch at IFA event Berlin, but looks to have postponed the launch. Well, the successor to the Moto 360 smartwatch 2nd Gen could still be in the works, so we will wait and see how details pan out based on this wearable.
