Former number one OEM, Oppo has put plans in place to official launch a new smartphone which has been tagged with the moniker Oppo F3. This handset was first spotted over at GFX Bench where we had a few details on its innings and since then it went silent.
Oppo launched the Oppo F3 Plus some months back and shortly after, the F3 showed up online. Information drought with regards to this handset has come to an end as we spotted some official promo images of this handset courtesy of AndroidPure.
The Oppo F3 will come in with a 5.5 inch Full HD touchscreen display having a resolution of 1920 x 1080 Pixels. This niche display will have a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 placed over it to protect it against cracks, scratches and unexpected occurrences. Below the display, there is a physical home button which also doubles up as a fingerprint scanner.
Ticking under the hood will be a MT6750T processor from MediaTek that will be bundled up with 4GB of RAM and an internal storage space of 64GB that will be made expandable to additional memory via the microSD card slot made available.
The phone is aimed at the selfie lovers as it sports a dual camera on the top upfront following in the steps of its much larger sibling the Oppo F3 Plus. This dual camera will be made up of a primary 16MP sensor and an 8Mpix secondary shooter.
This camera upfront accompanies a main 13 megapixel camera on the back panel having an LED flashlight to aid it in dark places. Fueling the handset is a 3200mAh battery pack that is made even better with the addition of fast charging technology.
The device will come with Android Marshmallow OS from the box and should sell under $400.
