Panasonic released its Panasonic Eluga Ray Max and Eluga Ray X handsets in March with the company’s own Arbo virtual assistant technology.
Prior to that, the company had promised that the handsets will be available from April, with the Arbo assistant feature due to arrive one to two weeks after the handsets get released.
Now, the company has revealed that the handset will be made available exclusively through Flipkart alongside the Arbo assistant feature, also expected to be made available out-of-box.
Furthermore, the Panasonic Eluga Ray Max is said to be made available in two internal storage variants – 32GB and 64GB at Rs. 11,499 and Rs. 12,499 respectively.
The handset will also be made available in Gold, Metallic Silver, and Rose Gold color options. The Panasonic Eluga Ray X, on the other hand, has been priced at Rs. 8,999. The device will be available in Gold, Rose Gold, and Space Grey color options.
In line with the Panasonic Eluga Ray Max, the dual-SIM handset runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and bears a 5.2-inch full-HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection. The device is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor equipped with 4GB of RAM.
As for optics, the Panasonic Eluga Ray Max bears a 16-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash. At the front area, the handset comes with an 8-megapixel camera with a wide-angle lens and flash support. It features a fingerprint scanner on the home button as well.
The handset packs connectivity options such as 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio with RDS, and Micro-USB with OTG support. The handset sports a 3000mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 3.0.
