When it comes to fitting ruggedized specifications and large batteries to smartphones for a cheap and affordable price tag, China-based OEM, Oukitel is of celebrity status. They have quite a number of such handsets already in the market and now, they are adding yet another one to this list.
This new smartphone will be tagged with the moniker Oukitel K10000 Pro and just as its name, it will be graced with a monstrous 10,000mAh battery pack. Before now, they had already paraded this handset, in Oukitel style, branding it “To Be The King” and from the looks of things, we doubt there is any that will be contending with it in the battery durability spectrum.
However, having a monstrous battery pack does not mean that the battery cannot run out. So what then happens when this battery runs out as it must definitely take many hours to fully refuel a 10,000mAh battery pack?
Well, Oukitel has also put this into consideration, and that is why they have given this device an adapter having a top grade flash charge chipset making it a 12V/2A flash charger. Although not tested yet, speculations have it that this should refuel a full discharged 10,000mAh cell within 3 hours.
The phone does not only come in with a big battery as it also packs quite the punch under the hood. There is an MT6750T processor powering the smartphone alongside 3GB of RAM and an internal storage space of 32GB. There is no word with regards to if this memory will be made expandable.
The K10000 pro will ship out with a 5.5 inch Full HD touchscreen display protected by a Corning Gorilla glass. This smartphone will official see the light of day in the first week of June, that’s when we will get to know more about its insides.
