Oppo has just concluded with the launch of is top-end selfie handset in India, following the unveiling of the handset in the Philippines about a week ago.
Dubbed Oppo F5, the handset highlights an AI-powered beautification features, 20-megapixel front camera, and a massive 18:9 ‘Full Screen’ display.
The handset comes in two versions: 4GB RAM/32GB storage priced at Rs. 19,990 and 6GB RAM/64GB storage priced at Rs. 24,990.
The former comes in a Gold and Black edition whilst the latter sees a launch in a Red and Black option. The handset is said to go on sale from November 9 on Flipkart.
Talking about specs, the dual-SIM device runs ColorOS 3.2 based on Android 7.1 Nougat and is powered by a MediaTek MT6763T octa-core SoC paired with 4GB or 6GB RAM.
It bears a 6-inch full-HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) LTPS ‘Full Screen’ display tagged with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and packs a 20-megapixel front camera clubbed with a f/2.0 aperture. At the rear end, the device brings a 16-megapixel camera coupled with dual-LED flash and a f/1.8 aperture.
The handset comes with an expandable storage via microSD card (up to 256GB). It brings connectivity options including 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v4.2, dual-band (2.4GHz and 5GHz) Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB with OTG support, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Onboard sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, and proximity sensor. Fitted with a 3200mAh battery, the new smartphone weighs 152 grams and measures 156.5x76x7.5mm.
