After releasing some top-end handsets in the second quarter of this year, Oppo has been under the radar since then. Now, new reports have reportedly discovered a new handset release from the Chinese smartphone manufacturers.
Making another addition to Oppo’s ‘’A’’ series, this new handset is dubbed the Oppo A71 and is currently listed on the company’s store in Malaysia.
Coming to the price, the Oppo A71 is said to be made available for sale at a price of MYR 858. Talking about availability, the company is still yet to reveal whether or not the handset will make it to other markets.
Offered in Black and Gold color options, the dual-SIM Oppo A71 runs on ColorOS 3.1 customized on Android 7.1 Nougat.
The handset packs 5.2-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) TFT display and is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750 SoC paired with 3GB of RAM.
The handset bears a 13-megapixel rear camera tagged with 1/3.06-inch sensor size, LED flash, PDAF, and a f/2.2 aperture.
At the front area, the handset packs a 5-megapixel camera coupled with a f/2.4 aperture. The Oppo A71 brings 16GB of internal storage with an option via microSD card (up to 256GB).
As per connectivity options, the Oppo A71 comes with 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, 3.5mm audio jack, and Micro-USB (with OTG).
It comes with on board sensors accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, and proximity sensor. The handset is backed by a 3000mAh battery, measures 148.1×73.8×7.6mm and weighs 137 grams.
