OnePlus is reportedly expected to unveil the OnePlus 5 handset sometime this year. The phone which is also rumored to be called OnePlus 4 has been seen in so many leaks in the past.
A fresh leak, however, has surfaced online, shedding more light on the specifications of the handset. According to the leak, the OnePlus 5 smartphone is expected to offer 8GB of RAM and will likely be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor.
The leak also claims that the handset will feature hardware navigation keys, though the bezel will likely be slimmer than the predecessor.
The handset also offers a fingerprint scanner that is housed at the back of the handset. The smartphone is also said to be 7mm thin, thus making it slightly slimmer than the predecessor.
Furthermore, the OnePlus device is also said to feature a 5.5-inch 2K display (1080×2048 pixels), and the camera will come with a 23-megapixel sensor at the back. The cameras will support features like optical image stabilization, zoom, and fast flash.
Going by previous reports, OnePlus 5 will feature a dual-edge screen and a 16-megapixel selfie camera. The Chinese company has also reportedly promised to push out an expandable storage up to 256GB on the next flagship.
Another report even claimed that the OnePlus 5 may sport a ceramic body similar to that of Xiaomi’s Mi MIX.
As far as we know, the OnePlus 5 smartphone is expected to arrive in the second quarter of 2017, and pricing details are still yet to be revealed.
