If you are expecting OnePlus to unveil a successor to its OnePlus 2 during this year’s MWC, then there is a big chance that you are going to be disappointed as the company isn’t going to make any new reveals during this year’s event in Barcelona.
According to the Company’s founder and director of its global affairs, Carl Pei, OnePlus is indeed working on a new flagship smartphone and expects to launch it sometime in the Q2 of 2016. Though Mr. Pei refuses to delve into any details about the upcoming flagship killer, he did make mentioned that his company is working on a new design and hopes the new device captivates users like when it first released the OnePlus 1 handset. Pei did reiterate that presence in the United States market is very important to his company this year.
To fix your OnePlus 3 urge, there has been a video concerning the aforementioned unannounced device making the rounds on the internet on the back of several leaked renders – pointing to the prospect of a Bezelless OnePlus 3.
OnePlus made a name for itself with the release of its OnePlus 2 handset which surprisingly sold 30,000 units in under a minute and raised quite a lot of interest among consumers.
The rumors are stating that the device will come in two variants — both sporting the Snapdragon 820 and a 5.5-inch 1080P display. One variant will house a 16GB internal storage capacity and 4GB of RAM while the other will have 32GB(with no mention of SD card slot)
On the camera side of things, the OnePlus 3 will reportedly feature a 13MP rear camera and tags a 5MP front-facing selfie shooter, power is rumored to be generated by a 3500mAh battery.
