ZTE looks to have started of this Year on a firm foot as thy already have launched some impressive handsets competing in the budget and mid-range section. Now, they have just added two new smartphones to their growing list of handset launched with the names ZTE Blade V8 Lite and ZTE Blade V8 mini.
They unveiled these handsets in all their Glory over on the soil of Barcelona where the recently concluded Mobile World Congress took place. Both handset proof to be quite similar in specs as they would be heading to the budget section of the market, following in the stead of their already launched siblings.
ZTE Blade V8 Mini
As the name implies, the ZTE Blade V8 mini would be a smaller variant of the Blade V8 and it also borrows some specifications from it as we can see the dual camera implementation make an appearance in the mini as well. Both sensors (13MP + 2MP) would take an image and these images would be converted into a 3D image.
The handset would also be graced with a 5-inch HD display which has a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. A Snapdragon 430 chipset would be ticking under the hood alongside 2GB of RAM and 16GB ROM made expandable to 128GB through a microSD card slot.
On the top upfront, there is a 5 mega-pixel selfie snapper just above the display whereas, below the screen, there would be capacitive keys. Fueling the Blade V8 mini is a 2800mAh battery pack which with the specs listed should do quite well in keeping the phone up and running for hours. There is also a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner thrown into the mix.
ZTE Blade V8 Lite
On the other hand, the lesser powered ZTE Blade V8 Lite proves to also be quite a beauty. Thanks to the Zircon sand blasting finish featured on this handset, the slim all metal uni-body has a premium look with smooth curves and edges.
This well-crafted chassis holds in place a 5 inch HD screen which has a 5 Mpix selfie snapper sitting right above it. This sensor is accompanying a main 8 mega-pixel camera on the rear panel of the handset. The V8 Lite is powered by an octa-core MTK 6750 chipset coupled up with 2GB of RAM and 16GB ROM that is made expandable to an additional 128GB via a microSD card slot.
The phone comes running the Android Nougat operating system from the box and unlike the V8 Mini, it would have a lesser 2500mAh battery pack fueling it. The V8 lite also came in with much needed necessities which includes Bluetooth 4.1 supports, a fingerprint scanner, VoLTE, and a 3.5mm Audio Jack.
Both handsets prove to be quite lovely, however, we are still in the dark with regards to their price tags but we know that the folks over at ZTE would dish out this information in the soon coming weeks. So Stay tuned to TDR.
