Last year was one of the Korean Giants worse with the explosions of their top tier handsets, nonetheless, that did not stop them from shipping out other devices and making a name for themselves. They shed more light on the Galaxy C series and since then, they have shipped of quite a few under this series which is loved by the smartphone public.
Seeing the success of this handset, the folks over at Samsung have taken out time to officially launch another handset under this series with the moniker Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro and is now officially listed on the Company’s official website.
This smartphone comes in with a 5.2 inch Full HD AMOLED display with a resolution of about 1920 x 1080 pixels which is kept up and running by a 2,600mAh battery pack. Under the hood, there is a Snapdragon 626 processor running at a speed of 2.2GHz powering the handset alongside an Adreno 506 GPU.
Also bundled up on the system on chip is 4GB of RAM and 64GB ROM that is made expandable to additional memory thanks to the addition of a microSD card slot. It has a dual sim configuration and supports Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, VoLTE, ANT+, 4G and it runs the Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 OS from the box.
On the camera side of things, the handset features a 16 Mpix main camera sensor on the back panel which is capable of PDAF and has an LED flashlight accompanying it. For selfies, the folks over at Samsung has fitted an 8Mpix shooter above the display with fixed focus. All these specs brings the Galaxy C5 Pro to an affordable price of just $360.
