Nokia came in with full force this year introducing a long list of smartphones that is still increasing up till today. However, among the already launched handsets for this year is the Nokia 3310, bring the hallmark of the past, into the present.
They officially unveiled this handset some few months using the global platform created by the Mobile World Congress held in Barcelona to boost up its publicity. The handset went on sale shortly after with a pretty cheap price tag and boatload of users showed interest in it.
Now, the folks over at HDM Global – the current owners of the Nokia brand name — have taken this smartphone to the shores of India where they just officially launched it. However, this handset will be only made available via physical retailers and will still have the same cheap price tag of just $58. This price will get you any color choice between Red, Blue, Yellow and Grey.
Although it sticks with the name of it arcade predecessor, it comes in with bumped up specification and a new design as well. The Nokia 3310 now sports a 2.4inch QVGA color display that is fueled by a 1200mAh battery pack that should be enough to keep it running for many hours.
On its back panel, the phone features a 2 megapixel main camera sensor that comes equipped with an LED flashlight to brighten up dark places. There will also be a 16MB internal memory configuration that is expandable to 32GB via a microSD card slot made available. No more pin chargers as now the handset sports a USB Type-C port for charging and even has Bluetooth connectivity.
