With handset developers giving us a pre-look at what might be their final devices of this year, HMD Global doesn’t appear to be taking the back sit on this one.
As it turns out, the company look all geared up to unveil a new handset in China on the 19th of October. As of now, we don’t know much about the device, so we’ll just have to wait until the company reveals more details.
Interestingly, HMD is still yet to launch the Nokia 8 in China, so it’s possible we might be seeing the handset two options – 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage and 6GB RAM/ 128GB storages.
More so, the company can altogether bring a new smartphone, with the latest reports hinting the number ‘7’, or Qi in Chinese.
Whatever the case will be, we will definitely find out on the 19th of October. The company appears to have sent out invitations, so we can expect the event to happen Live on that given date.
Going by one report, the alleged Nokia 7 will be made available in three variants including – 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage, 4GB RAM/ 32GB storage, and 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage.
The handset will likely be powered by a Snapdragon 630 SoC, whilst offering Nokia 8’s OZO Audio and Bothie features, as per previous reports.
Before having high hopes, HMD China may just unveil the Nokia 8 instead, as previously mentioned. Funnily enough, the handset was recently made available for purchase in India, where it rolled out in 4GB RAM and 64GB storage version.
