Over the past few weeks now, HMD Global has been speculated to be working on few Android-based handsets that have been involved in multiple leaks.
Now, a new image has surfaced online showing the entry-level Nokia 2 Android handset being compared alongside the Nokia 3.
While the leaked image shows the alleged and yet-to-be-announced Nokia 2 handset, we can’t say for sure if the details from the images are to be believed.
Going by one report, the Nokia 2 device could be the company’s cheapest offering this year which automatically means that the device may be priced lower than the Nokia 3, that is regarded as the cheapest Android handset in the company’s portfolio.
It might also interest you, that the tipster has reportedly utilized a schematic of Nokia 3 in a bid to compare it against the alleged Nokia 2.
The tipster also claims that the Nokia 2 device may likely be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 MSM8909 processor.
Similar to the Nokia 3, the alleged Nokia 2, notably doesn’t come with a fingerprint scanner. To add, the Nokia 2 appears to sport a similar 5-inch display which matches the screen space of the Nokia 3.
Furthermore, the tipster also suggests that the budget Nokia 2 device may look like the now obsolete Lumia 620. Going by the leaked image, it hints that the alleged Nokia 2 may come with rounded edges much like the Lumia 620.
As it turns out, there are no further details about the release date of the Nokia 2, but we can expect to get more information about the device in the future.
