Rugged smartphones seem to be trendy these days amongst users, as it is a good value for money due to a number of falls that causes smashed screens. And for manufacturers (BlackView, Nomu, Ulefone, Samsung, and Panasonic), the lure of much higher margins has proven to be far too attractive to miss due to price charge.
Joining this rugged bandwagon is Chinese smartphone maker Homtom with its HT20 Pro. Its previous generation HT20 was pretty popular considering the sturdy outlook it comes with and reasonable specs at an affordable price.

The rugged device will roll out with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, with various sensors such as Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient Light, and Fingerprint Sensor.
Other features include Magnesium Alloy & Polycarbonate Body Design, LTE Cat 4 150 Mbps Download, 50 Mbps Upload, HSUPA 5.76 Mbps Upload, HSDPA 21 Mbps Download, Corning Gorilla Glass, Computer Sync, OTA Sync, Tethering, Hotknot, FM Radio, Fingerprint Unlocking, Fingerprint recognition, 5V/1A Charger Output Power.
