Mid last year, Huawei made official their flagship device under the P line of smartphones dubbed the Huawei P8 and a year plus after this launching, a new handset looking like the P8 has just been spotted, making its way through TENAA.
However, this new handset is not from Huawei themselves as it was manufactured by another Giant in China, Gionee. This OEM has been on the down low for some time now and they are set to storm the mid-range market with a new unknown smartphone having the model number GN5005.
Although news surrounding this handset is blink with regards to its moniker, launching date and price tag, thanks to it journey through TENAA, we have an idea of how the device would look on the outside and what features it would possess on the inside.
At first glance, the handset can be mistaken for a flagship phone as the frame work proves to be one of master class craftsmanship with the use of symmetrical design. This frame hold in place a 5 inch HD display which has a physical home button below it – possibly doubled up with the presence of an embedded fingerprint scanner –.
Powering the phone is a quad-core SoC running at 1.25GHz and this is aided by 3GB of RAM and an expandable internal storage space of 16GB. On the camera side of things, a 5MP selfie snapper is present on the top upfront and it accompanies a main 8 megapixel camera on the rear panel of the phone.
Drawing power from a 4,000mAh battery pack, this handset should be able to give your more than enough up time to enjoy all the goodies the Android Marshmallow OS it comes with from the box has to offer.
