Going by a host of recent leaks, Moto X4 which highlights Google’s Assistant and Alexa technologies is expected to be released in India soon.
As it is, the company hasn’t said a single word regarding when it plans on launching the handset in India. Nevertheless, considering the spectrum of leaks we’ve seen so far, we can all agree that the launch of the device is imminent.
That being said, it’s safe to say that we might see the handset at the Motorola event that is slated for the 3rd of October.
Coming to specifications, the single-SIM Moto X4 runs on Android 7.1 Nougat packs a 5.2-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) LTPS IPS display tagged with 424ppi pixel density and Corning Gorilla Glass on top. The device is powered by a 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 octa-core SoC paired with 3GB of RAM.
Sporting a dual rear camera configuration that consists of one 12-megapixel dual autofocus sensor tagged with f/2.0 aperture and 1.4-micron pixels, the handset also bears an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor with a 120-degree field of view, f/2.2 aperture, and 1.12-micron pixels.
Other key features include ultra-wide angle shot, professional mode, depth detection and depth effects, Selective Focus, selective Black & White (beta), and many others.
At the front, the camera bears a 16-megapixel selfie sensor tagged with flash support, f/2.0 aperture, and 1-micron pixels.
Fitted with a 3000mAh battery that supports fast charging, it also comes with connectivity options including NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (dual-band, 2.4GHz, and 5GHz), GPS, GLONASS, 4G LTE, and FM radio support. The device measures 148.35×73.4×7.99mm and weigh 163 grams.
