As latest reports would have it, a brand-new model of Moto G5S, the mid-range affordable Moto handset has been released in India.
Offered in Midnight Blue color option, the specs and OS remains the same as the one for the original.
The handset comes at a price at Rs. 14,999, but interestingly, it is said to be sold at Rs. 12,999 till October 21 as part of a launch offer presented by Diwali.
Interested buyers can simply visit retail stores or offline Moto Hubs to be amongst the set of first-time grabbers.
To recall, the new Moto G5S was released in India in August at a starting price of Rs. 13,999. As it turned out, the new handset was offered in only Lunar Grey and Fine Gold color options.
Talking about specs, the Moto G5S brings a 5.2-inch full-HD display tagged with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and an all-metal body design.
The device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 430 SoC clocked at 1.4GHz, coupled with 4GB of RAM. It comes with 32GB of onboard storage that can be expanded using memory cards (up to 128GB). The handset supports dual-SIM and comes bearing 4G VoLTE, as well as a fingerprint sensor on the frontal section.
Offering a waterproof feature, the new handset also brings a 3000mAh battery which supports Turbo Charging.
In the camera department, the Moto G5S packs a 16-megapixel sensor coupled with dual-tone LED flash and f/2.0 aperture.
It brings a support functionality for video recording in full-HD (1920×1080 pixels) and at the front packs, a 5-megapixel camera tagged with f/2.0 aperture for selfies.
