Selfie-focused handsets are still trending and Micromax appears to be making some appearances with some of its latest releases.
Back in July, Micromax launched the Selfie 2 handset and as the latest report goes, the company has released a successor to the handset in India.
Dubbed Micromax Selfie 3, this new offering is priced at Rs. 11,999 and is expected to be made available in offline stores across the country. The phone comes bearing black and Blue color options.
Furthermore, the handset also comes with one major highlight including its 16-megapixel Samsung sensor, paired with selfie flash at the frontal section for taking selfies.
According to one report, the company claims that the whole idea behind the selfie flash was to ensure that consumers don’t capture unnatural images that are commonly found in phones with regular flash.
Apart from that, the company also touts a beauty mode feature that lets a user have access to more options while clicking images from the front shooter. At the rear end, it sports a 13-megapixel Sony sensor.
Talking about specs, the new Micromax Selfie 3 runs Android Nougat and bears a 5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display.
Powered by a Snapdragon 435 SoC equipped with 3GB of RAM, the latest handset from Micromax offers 32GB internal memory unit that can be expanded with the use of a microSD card.
Talking about connectivity options, the handset comes with 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, and Bluetooth 4.2. It is fitted with a 3000mAh battery.
