Micromax Canvas 1 With 4G VoLTE Support Launched in India: Price, Specifications, and More

Micromax has expanded its Canvas portfolio by releasing a new budget handset dubbed Canvas 1. The mobile phone device highlights a 2.5D HD display, a quad-core processor, and 4G VoLTE support and many others.

Priced at Rs. 6,99, the phone is currently up for grabs via offline channels and it comes in Matte Black or Chrome Black variants. To add, the Micromax Canvas 1 also comes with a 1-year warranty on any hardware mishaps.

Coming to the specifications, the dual-SIM 4G-VoLTE Micromax Canvas 1 runs on Android Nougat and features a 5-inch HD (720×1280) display.

Powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor paired with 2GB of RAM, the handset comes with 16GB of internal storage that is expandable via MicroSD card (up to 32GB).

In terms of optics, the Micromax Canvas 1 bears an 8-megapixel rear camera with flash and a 5-megapixel selfie camera.

It also comes with connectivity options including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB 2.0, and much more. The handset houses a 2500mAh battery measures 143x71x8.3mm and weighs about 150 grams.

What’s more, the device is coupled with OTG Support that packs a mass storage that can be connected to the serial communications, keyboards/mice, game controllers and can allow users to easily import photos from a camera.

Interestingly, the Micromax Canvas 1 is the first handset from the company to roll out with a 100-day replacement promise on any hardware issue as part of the 1-year product warranty.
