As latest reports would have it, Reliance Retail has just released the Lyf C459 whilst expanding its Lyf handset series. Priced at Rs. 4,699, the handset is said to be made available in Reliance Digital stores throughout the country.
The handset highlights VoLTE support and Snapdragon processor. Coming to specifications, the Reliance Lyf C459 runs on Android 6.1 Marshmallow and comes with support for dual-SIM slots
While sporting a Micro and Micro SIM setting, only one slot can be used for 4G at a time while the other works on 2G.
The handset comes with a 4.5-inch (480×854 pixels) FWVGA IPS LCD display tagged with 218ppi pixel density and 2D Asahi Glass protection.
Powered by the 1.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 MSM8909 quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and Adreno 304 GPU, the budget handset brings 8GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via a microSD card slot (up to 128GB).
In Line with optics, the Lyf C459 packs a 5-megapixel rear camera tagged with LED flash support and 6X zoom. At the front area, the handset brings a 2-megapixel lens for selfies and video chats.
The camera also offers support features including auto frame rate, red eye reduction, continuous auto Focus, gaze detection, video HDR supported in code, smile detection, blink detection, and panorama.
Backed by a 2000mAh battery that the company claims can deliver up to 8 hours of talk time, and up to 160 hours of standby time, the handset comes with connectivity options like VoLTE, GPRS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, and USB OTG.
It also comes with sensors on board such as a gyroscope, ambient light sensor, accelerometer, and proximity sensor. The device weighs 139 grams and measures 132x66x9.3mm.
