South Korean smartphone manufacturers, LG has now launched its flagship smartphone in India at an event in New Delhi.
The new LG G6 handset is expected to be made available exclusively on Amazon India for online sales, and can also be purchased from offline stores.
Pre-bookings for the handset has already begun, and the company is reportedly offering up to Rs. 7,000 cashback and a discount on the LG Tone Active+ HBS-A100 wireless headphone. In regards to the LG G6 price in India, the device is said to be priced at Rs.51,990 and is now on sale.
To recap, the LG G6 handset was launched at the MWC 2017 event and runs Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box and features a 5.7-inch QHD+ (1440×2880 pixels) FullVision display and highlights a near bezel-less front with an 18:9 (or 2:1) aspect ratio.
Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC paired with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM, the LG G6 is made available in 32GB and 64GB storage options and supports expansion via microSD card (up to 2TB).
As per optics, the LG G6 features a dual-camera setup on the back with two 13-megapixel. At the front, it comes with a 5-megapixel wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and 100-degree lens.
The handset also packs connectivity options including Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.2, NFC, and USB Type-C 2.0.
It supports LTE-A 3 Band CA network and packs a non-removable 3300mAh battery. The handset measures 148.9×71.9×7.9mm and weigh in at 163 grams. It is expected to be made available in Astro Black, Ice Platinum, and Mystic White color variants.
In addition, the LG G6 sports a 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC for enhanced audio playback and has passed the MIL-STD 810G military standard certification for durability.
