LeEco has unveiled a new handset with an AI assistant, dubbed LeEco Le Pro 3 AI Edition. Apparently, the handset is the company’s first device to offer a dual rear camera setup.
As of now, pre-orders for the handset in the Chinese market has already began. The handset rolled out in two versions – Helio X23 SoC variant with 32GB storage and Helio X27 SoC model with 64GB storage both priced at CNY 1,799 and CNY 2,399 respectively.
The major highlight of the LeEco Le Pro 3 AI Edition is its AI-based voice assistant dubbed ‘LeLe’ that can be activated while the screen is turned off. The feature is also integrated with LeEco’s applications and third-party apps as well.
Another remarkable function of the Assistant feature, is its capacity to learn from a user and get better with time.
The LeEco Le Pro 3 AI Edition packs two 13-megapixel rear sensors, with one capturing monochrome information and the other capturing color information.
The sensors are paired with f/2.0 aperture lenses, PFAF autofocus and dual-LED flash. The company also boasts the ‘Le IMAGE AI’ engine that stitches together images.
The dual-SIM smartphone runs EMUI 5.9 that is based on Android Marshmallow and bears a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display with a max brightness of 600 nits.
The modular version of the handset is powered by a 2.3GHz deca-core MediaTek Helio X23 SoC, while the Eco model is powered by a 2.6GHz deca-core Helio X27 SoC. Both the variants feature 4GB of RAM.
At front, the LeEco Le Pro 3 AI Edition sports an 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and a 76.5-degree wide-angle lens.
