Chinese manufacturer Leagoo made name for itself after launching the M5 possessing bullet-proof glass. Now, the firm is set to add another member to the M series which is to be known as M8 Pro succeeding the highly successful and affordable Leagoo M8 which was introduced last year. The device will make its grand entry at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 in Barcelona.
As usual, the successor of any device comes with upgraded specs and the M8 Pro is no exception as it has dual camera setup at the rear amongst others.
Based on the details at hand, the new device will feature a 5.7” Super HD IPS display with a 2.5D curved glass on top coupled with Corning Gorilla Glass 4, shielding it against heavy falls. The M8 Pro will be equipped with a Quad-core MediaTek MTK 6737 chipset working alongside with 2GB RAM, and 16GB of expandable storage of up to 128GB.
However, the selling points of M8 Pro is the dual-lens camera it carries and has already dubbed a slogan for itself- Enjoy Dual Camera. There is the presence of a 5MP secondary sensor serving as a depth for a field camera, plus a 13MP primary sensor with LED flash and auto-focus. At the front is packed a nice 8MP camera for cool selfies and videos.
Other features include a massive 3500mAh battery ensuring that the battery capacity is above average. Onboard is a bass sound system together with a fingerprint sensor mounted at the rear which is capable of unlocking the phone in just 0.19 seconds.
In addition, the M8 Pro will roll out using Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box and Freeme OS with a Smart 4G capability as well as a couple of connectivity options.
