Lava Z60 With Android 7.0 Nougat and ‘Bokeh Mode’ Launched in India: Price, Specifications

As of today, Lava has released a new mobile device dubbed the Z60 in India. The budget handset comes at a price of Rs. 6,499.

The handsets run Android 7.0 Nougat and come with pre-installed features like Bokeh Mode. The handset is offered in Gold and Black color variant.

Coming to specs, the Lava Z60 supports dual-SIM and runs Android 7.0 Nougat based on the company’s own star OS 4.1 UI.

Packing a 5-inch FWVGA (480×854 pixels) display tagged with a pixel density of 196ppi, the handset is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.1GHz paired with 1GB RAM.

In the camera department, the Lava Z60 bears a 5-megapixel rear camera tagged with flash support and at the front comes with a 5-megapixel camera with a flash feature as well.

According to one report, the company is touting ‘Bokeh Mode’ feature that it claims brings a blur effect background to make pictures look better.

Apparently, the handset will be able to use this feature tagged with images captured through both front and rear cameras.

Talking about storage, the new dual-SIM Lava Z60 handset packs 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded via a microSD card slot.

In regards to connectivity options, the budget handset comes packing a 4G VoLTE connectivity, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The handset is backed by a 2500mAh battery, measures 143.6×72.3×9.1mm, and weighs 149 grams.
