Joining the leagues of Vivo and Oppo to bring a selfie focused handset, Kodak has just concluded with the launch of a photography-focused handset dubbed ‘’Kodak Ektra.’’ The handset is currently up for sale at a price of Rs. 19,990 and can be purchased via Flipkart.
The handset comes with a 21-megapixel fast-focus camera sensor tagged with f/2.0 aperture as well as 13-megapixel front-facing camera with PDAF and a f/2.2 aperture. As of now, the Kodak Ektra handset is already available in the US and Europe.
The handset rolls out with a custom-made camera app tagged with DSLR-like ‘Scene Selection Dial’ where adjustments can be made in real time using a range of settings, including HDR, landscape, portrait, macro, sport, night-time and panorama.
The phone’s camera blends high-quality low-light photos, making use of “ARCSOFT Night Shot” feature merged with a Kodak-certified lens coating that is intended to maximize the light that reaches the sensor, whilst reducing the ISO noise.
The Kodak Ektra packs Helio X20 2.3GHz Decacore processor coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB of storage space. The handset bears a 5-inch full-HD display and is fitted with a 3000mAh battery.
In a separate news, Super Plastronics, the company that has licensed the Kodak brand for audio devices, also revealed that the company released a Bluetooth speaker called Kodak TV Speaker. The speaker rolls out with Bluetooth 4.0 + EDR connectivity that can be found in a range of up to 10 meters.
The company also claims that a battery life of “over 5 hours” is what users can expect from the 10W speaker. It can be purchased on Flipkart at a price of Rs. 3,290.
