We are in the final half of this year, and smartphone brands are still going strong with the release of their devices. Indian smartphone makers, Karbonn has just concluded with the release of a brand-new Titanium-series handset dubbed, Titanium Jumbo.
The handset launched in India and highlights a mammoth 4000mAh battery that the company claims can deliver up to 400 hours, and talk time of up to 16 hours standby time. What’s more the handset also other highlight is the 8-megapixel front-facing sensor.
Talking about price, the handset comes at a starting price of Rs. 7,490, though the company reveals that the marketing operating price will be Rs. 6,490.
Furthermore, the company also states that it will ship a free back panel cover with the handset. That being said, we are not sure if the Karbonn Titanium Jumbo will be made available via online or offline channels.
Interestingly enough, most smartphone reviewers are already claiming that the handset will likely take on Xiaomi’s Redmi 4, which comes with the same specification.
Coming to specs, the Karbonn Titanium Jumbo packs a 5-inch HD IPS display and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor.
The phone brings 2GB of RAM speed coupled with an onboard storage space of 16GB with an option to expand via a microSD (up to 64GB).
In the camera department, the handset sports a 13-megapixel rear sensor tagged with LED flash and at the front area brings an 8-megapixel camera. The rear camera comes with pre-installed effects like Panorama shot, continuous shot and face detection features.
Fitted with a 4000mAh battery, the new Karbonn offering brings 4G with VoLTE and supports USB OTG.
Apart from that, the handset also supports 3G, EDGE/ GPRS, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth, and other Wi-Fi connectivity options. It is said to be made available in Black and Champagne color variants.
