Right from the beginning of this year, we’ve seen a host of different handsets from Indian smartphone maker, Karbonn.
Expanding the company’s K9 series, this new launch comes as a budget device and rolls out with UPI-enabled BHIM application for faster payments in the country.
Dubbed the K9 Smart Grand, the handset comes with several highlights including a fingerprint scanner, 4G VoLTE support, and 2.5D curved display.
Talking about price, the Karbonn K9 Smart Grand is said to be sold at a price of Rs. 5,290 and it will be offered in Black and Champagne color options.
The dual-SIM Karbonn K9 Smart Grand runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor equipped with 1GB of RAM.
The device sports a 5.2-inch FWVGA (480×854 pixels) display tagged with 2.5D curved glass. As per storage, the new K9 Smart Grand brings 8GB of internal storage space that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 32GB).
In terms of optics, the Karbonn K9 Smart Grand comes bearing an 8-megapixel rear camera coupled with an LED flash and packs key features including Panorama shot, continuous shot, and face detection.
At the front area, the handset comes with a 5-megapixel camera. At the rear section, it comes with a fingerprint scanner.
The handset houses a 2300mAh Li-Po battery and comes with connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, FM radio, USB OTG, and 3.5mm audio jack apart from 4G VoLTE.
