Following the unveiling of the Intex Aqua Strong 5.1 Plus handset, Intex smartphone manufacturing company has also reportedly launched the Intex Aqua Trend Lite handset in India. The device is essentially a cheaper version of the Intex Aqua Trend handset that was released in August 2017.
The Intex Aqua Trend Lite handset is priced at Rs. 5,690, and comes with 4G VoLTE support, as well as been released in a Champagne color option.
The major highlight of the device is the in-built 1.5W speaker that the company claims will produce good audio quality and volume.
As per specs, the Intex Aqua Trend Lite smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box and supports dual-SIM feature. The device comes with a 5-inch (480×854 pixels) FWVGA TN display. Powered by a 1.2GHz MediaTek MT6737M quad-core chip paired Mali-T720 GPU and 1GB of RAM speed, the handset also sports an 8GB of inbuilt storage that is expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card slot.
In line with optics, the Intex Aqua Trend Lite device features a 5-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash, and a 2-megapixel camera in front an LED flash as well. The handset houses a 2600mAh battery that the company claims can last up to 200 hours of standby time and 8 hours of talk time.
Other key features include 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS.
The mobile phone measures a dimension of 146.6x73x11.5mm, and weighs 160 grams. The handset also rolls out preloaded with Intex’s in-house Value Added Services (VAS) like MiFon Security, LFTY, Vistoso, and Tap & Buy.
