Intex Aqua A4 With Android 7.0 Nougat, 4G VoLTE Support Launched at Rs. 4,199

Following the unveiling of the ELYT e-1 smartphone, Intex has decided to expand its Aqua series portfolio by releasing the Aqua A4 device in India.

The main highlight of the device is its support for 4G VoLTE and capacity to run on Android 7.0 Nougat. The Intex Aqua A4 device is priced at Rs. 4,199 and will be offered across major retail stores in the country.

The handset is only made available in Black colour variant and houses the speaker grille at the back. It also comes with capacitive navigation buttons at the bottom edge of the display.

The Intex Aqua A4 handset runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and supports dual-SIM slots. It sports a 4-inch (480×800 pixels) WVGA display that delivers 245ppi pixel density.

The device is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC9832 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The Aqua A4 rolls out with 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded via microSD card (up to 64GB). In line with optics, the Intex Aqua A4 bears a 5-megapixel rear camera with fixed focus and support for a flashlight.

At the front area, the device sports a 2-megapixel camera for taking selfies and video chats as well. It houses a 1750mAh battery which is rated to bring up to 4-6 hours of talk time and 250 hours of standby time.

The handset measures 125x64x11.2mm and weigh 119.5 grammes. It packs connectivity options including Bluetooth, 4G VoLTE, WLAN, FM radio, and Wi-Fi.
