Intex mobiles just have just concluded with the release of an entry level handset dubbed Aqua 5.5 VR+. The handset comes as a successor to the Aqua 5.5 VR handset that was launched some time ago coupled with a VR headset.
The new Aqua 5.5 VR+ smartphone highlights the VR technology that was launched in October last year. Coming to the price, the handset is said to be sold at Rs. 5,799 and will be made available exclusively via Flipkart.
In regards to specs, the new Intex Aqua 5.5 VR+ runs Android 7.0 Nougat and packs a 5.5-inch HD display. The dual-SIM device comes powered by a MediaTek processor clocking at a speed of 1.25GHz paired with 2GB of RAM.
In the camera department, the budget handset offers an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel shooter on the front for taking quality selfies.
As for storage capacity, the Intex Aqua 5.5 VR+ brings 16GB of internal memory with an option to expand via microSD card (up to 128GB).
It also comes with connectivity options including 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. Fitted with a 2800mAh battery, the handset rolled out in Champagne color.
To add, the handset also saw the likes of QR Code scanner, Xender, Gaana and Vistoso which are all preloaded applications users are likely to find appealing.
To refresh, the Intex Aqua 5.5 VR which is the predecessor to the Aqua 5.5 VR+ came with a 5.5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display just like its successor.
The handset also comes with a 1.2GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737V/W processor paired with 1GB of RAM. The smartphone brought an 8GB internal storage with an option to expand via microSD card (up to 32GB).
