In an effort to fulfill its promise to bring the Zero 5 and Zero 5 Pro handsets to India, Transsion Holdings brand, a licensee to Infinix, has finally launched the devices.
The handsets highlight dual rear cameras tagged with support for optical zoom and portrait mode as well as an octa-core processor coupled with 6GB of RAM speed.
Talking about price, the new Infinix Zero 5 goes for at Rs. 17,999 and rolls out in Champagne Gold, Bordeaux Red, and Sandstone Black color options. The Infinix Zero 5 Pro, on the other hand, offers 128GB storage and is priced at Rs. 19,999.
Moving on to specs, the Infinix Zero 5 sports a 5.98-inch full-HD 2.5D curved glass display tagged with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection.
Powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P25 processor clocked at 2.6GHz paired with 6GB of RAM, the Zero 5 comes with 64GB of internal memory space, while the Zero 5 Pro brings 128GB storage.
Apart from the storage space, every other feature on both devices is pretty much the same. Packing support for expandable storage via microSD card (up to 128GB), both handsets runs on Android 7.0 Nougat based on the company’s own XOS 3.0.
In the camera department, the Zero 5 brings dual cameras comprising of a 12-megapixel rear camera clubbed with Sony IMX386 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, and dual LED Flash as well as a secondary 13-megapixel camera paired with a telephoto lens, f/2.6 aperture, and 2x optical zoom.At the front area, the handsets bring a 16-megapixel camera equipped with LED flash.
The handsets both come with a fingerprint scanner and connectivity options, including 4G with VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth. GPS, USB-Type C, and 3.5mm audio jack. Both smartphones are fitted with a 4350mAh non-removable battery built with fast charging support.
