It is no new news that Huawei would be setting up sail to storm the upcoming Mobile World Congress scheduled for the 26th of this month over at Barcelona. As of now, we are certain of all the device this OEM would launch, but we know that the Honor V9 would go official some days before this event but in the shores of China.
However, they have just dished out information which is pointing to the fact that there would be another smartphone launched alongside the Honor V9 with the moniker Huawei Honor 8 Youth Edition on that same 21 February over in Beijing.
Last year, Huawei made official the Huawei Honor 8 and judging by the moniker of this handset, this soon to launch variant would be slightly toned-down and customized in a way it would suit the needs of the present day Chinese Youth.
The phone comes equipped with Huawei Kirin 655 processor under the hood which is aided by 3GB of RAM and a 3000mAh battery pack capable of keeping the device up and running for many hours. On the display side of things, however, the OEM has gone for a 5.2 inch Full HD screen having a resolution of 1080 x 1920 Pixels.
Unlike it much more powerful Honor 8 sibling, this new comer would not ship off with a dual camera implementation but would have just one single 12MP shooter on its rear panel. It would be made available in four color versions which includes Gold, Black, Blue and White.
Judging by the specifications, this handset is the same as the Honor P8 Lite and the Nova Lite which suggests that th folks over at Huawei are shipping of this devices to different locations with different names.
