Chinese smartphone makers, Huawei has released a brand new Nova 2i handset in the Malaysian market. Notably, this handset adds to the company’s Huawei Nova 2 and Nova 2 Plus devices.
Quite unfortunately, the price of the handset has not been revealed by the company, so we will just have to wait until the company does.
Coming as a major highlight, the handset comes with the FullView display tagged with an 18:9 aspect ratio which is a current trend seen on handsets nowadays.
Apart from the display, the handset also highlights four cameras with two at the front and two at the back. The handset brings dual cameras on both consoles, which means, users will be able to take bokeh shots and portraits.
Similar to the Huawei 8 Pro, the new Huawei Nova 2i also allows also comes with a readjustment feature that lets users readjust focus after taking pictures as well as apply different bokeh effects.
Coming to specs, the Huawei Nova 2i brings a 5.9-inch full-HD display, and packs a metal unibody design. At the back, the handset brings a 16-megapixel primary sensor paired with a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. At the front, it bears a 13-megapixel sensor coupled with a 2-megapixel sensor for depth of field enabled shots.
Powered by an octa-core Kirin 659 processor clocked at 2.36GHz paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, the handset also runs on EMUI 5.1 based on Android 7.0 Nougat.
The handset is also backed by a 3340mAh battery that the company claims can deliver up to two days of standby time.
