Whilst other are finding it hard to keep up pace with the demand in the Indian Market leading them to cut down on advertising budgets and employees – am looking at you LeEco – we still see other manufacturers like Huawei still thriving here as they have just introduced a new smartphone into this market.
The handset coming into this harsh market is one of Huawei’s dual camera smartphones, the Huawei Honor 6X. According to the press invited release by the OEM, we see them tagging this handset as the swag phone.
The Honor 6X has a 5.5 inch Full HD touchscreen display with a resolution of just 1920 x 1080 P which should mix pretty nicely with the goodness of the Android Marshmallow OS it would be expected to ship with from the box.
Powering the phone is Huawei’s very own Kirin 655 chipset which would be made available in two different memory options that include a 3GB RAM/4GB RAM and internal memory version of 32GB and 64GB storage options.
The camera sensors at the back would comprise of one 12 megapixel primary sensor which would be accompanied by another 2 megapixel secondary sensor. Beside this two sensors is an LED flashlight whereas just below them is a circular fingerprint scanner for obvious purposes.
However, the mid-range spectrum is currently being dominated by Xiaomi’s Redmi note 3 handset so we believe that this new handset entering the Indian market is up for a big fight. Nonetheless, with a price tag of just INR15,000 we believe it would do quite well.
