Some few weeks back, we witnessed the launch of a glorious handset dubbed the Huawei Mate 9 which is Huawei’s main flagship for 2016 and it was released with a much more beautiful and powerful variant with the moniker Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design.
Now, however, yet another variant of this handset has been announced which would be more powerful and smaller in size than the original Huawei Mate 9 although we believe it should be consisted of downgraded hardware compared to it’s Mate 9 Porsche Edition sibling.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro is expected to ship out with a 5.5 inch curved Quad HD AMOLED display which is held in place firmly by the device’s finely crafted metal chassis. The handset would come running the Android 7.0 Nougat OS from the Box which is mashed up with Huawei’s very own EMUI v5.0.
Under the hood, we see the 64-bit octa-core Huawei Kirin 960 processor powering the device with the aid of Mali G71 MP8 Graphics aboard. On the memory side of thing, two RAM and ROM variants would be made available which would be either 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of storage capacity.
The Mate 9 Pro doesn’t fail to keep up with the dual-camera trend seen through the Mate series of devices as it comes graced with Leica inspired 20 + 12 megapixel dual-camera at the back whereas on the top upfront, an 8MP selfie snapper is present for all your selfie desires.
Not also forgetting that the handset would be graced with 4,000mAH of battery life which should keep your piston fingers thumping for quite some long hours. All these specifications brings this handset to an asking price of $687 for the 4GB RAM variant whereas the 6GB RAM version would go for $775.
