Sometime in June, we saw the launch of HTC’s flagship handset, the HTC U11, in India which went on sale at a starting price of Rs. 51,990. As per new reports, the same handset has just reportedly released in a Solar Red color edition in the country.
Anyone interested in this new color model of the handset can simply place their orders on the company’s official e-store now.
As other color variants of the handset that were launched in the past all came at the same price point, we can also expect this new version to be sold at the same price as well.
Further, the handset is reportedly claimed to go on sale from August 26 and the company is also said to tagging a free 20W car charger for every single purchase of this HTC U11’s new color option.
Talking about specs, the new color variant of the HTC U11 device runs on Android 7.1 Nougat tagged with HTC’s Sense skin on top.
The handset packs a 5.5-inch Quad HD (1440×2560 pixels) Super LCD display tagged with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection.
Powered by a 2.45GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM, the handset also brings 128GB of internal storage with an option to expand via microSD card (up to 2TB).
The HTC U11 comes with a 12-megapixel rear camera tagged with 1.4-micron pixel, ultra-spread autofocuses, dual-LED flash, BSI sensor, OIS, f/1.7 aperture, slow-motion, and 4K video recording. At the front area, the handset sports a 16-megapixel camera tagged with BSI sensor and full-HD recording.
Fitted with a 3000mAh battery that the company claims to deliver up to 24.5 hours of talk time, and 14 days of standby time, the handset also packs connectivity options including GPS/ A-GPS, GLONASS, USB 3.1 Type-C port, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi: 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz & 5GHz), NFC and support for 4G VoLTE.
