After so much controversy, HTC went on to confirm that it was planning on bringing its next flagship handset despite its collaboration with Google.
Notwithstanding, what might be the first news about the smartphone seems to have made its way to the internet. After launching the HTC U11, that got a lot of criticism, there has been some news that we might be seeing another variant of the handset.
Moving on to the newly leaked information about the HTC U11 Plus, the handset will come with a near bezel-less display tagged with a different aspect ratio, that came with recent flagships from 2017.
According to one report, the HTC U11 Plus bears the codename, Ocean Master and will be launched on November 11.
Furthermore, the upcoming HTC U11 Plus is tipped to feature a 5.99-inch Quad HD+ (1440×2880 pixels) display developed by JDI.
The handset is also said to come powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 SoC paired with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM speed.
In the camera department, the HTC U11 Plus will bear a 12-megapixel primary rear camera and at the front sport an 8-megapixel camera for taking selfies.
The smartphone is also reportedly suggested to offer a 64GB or 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage unit and sports IP68 water resistance rating as well.
The handset will also likely feature Quick Charge 3.0. Interestingly enough, the company touts the Edge Sense feature and claims it will be offered on the Plus variant as well.
Separately, word came that HTC U11 Life, which is also an Android One device is said to be released at the same event.
