HTC has released a brand new HTC U11 EYEs in Taiwanese and Chinese markets. The handset is the first offering from the company this year and it rolls out in Black, Silver, and Red color options.
The handset highlights a 3930mAh battery which is apparently the biggest we’ve seen from HTC so far. The device brings a price tag of CNY 3,299 and is expected to go on sale from the 25th of January in China.
Coming to specs, the HTC U11 EYEs supports dual-SIM (Nano) and runs on Android 7.1 Nougat based on HTC Sense UI. The mobile device features a large 6.0-inch full-HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) Super LCD3 display bearing an 18:9 aspect ratio and Gorilla Glass 3 on top.
Powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM speed, the HTC U11 EYEs also offers 64GB of internal memory with an option to expand via microSD card (up to 2TB).
As per optics, the smartphone packs a 12-UltraPixel rear sensor clubbed with features like phase detection autofocus (PDAF), OIS, f/1.7 aperture, and dual-tone dual-LED flash. At the front area, the device brings a dual camera configuration equipped with two 5-megapixel sensors, tagged with HDR enhancement, a f/2.2 aperture, and Bokeh mode, for selfies and video calling.
Even better, the new HTC offering comes with HTC’s USonic audio technology with active noise reduction.
In terms of connectivity options, the handset brings 4G, GPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type-C port, and NFC.
It also comes with onboard sensors including a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, face recognition sensor, digital compass, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, distance sensor, magnetic sensor.
Backed by a 3930mAh battery that comes with support for Quick Charge 3.0, the handset measures 157.9×74.99×8.5mm and weighs grams.
