HTC has reportedly cut prices for the HTC U Ultra and HTC Desire 10 Pro handsets in India. The mobile phone devices are now up for sale at a price of Rs. 52,990 and Rs. 23,990 respectively.
To recall, HTC U Ultra was unveiled last month at the price of Rs. 59,990, giving it an official price cut of Rs. 7,000. The HTC Desire 10 Pro, on the other hand, was released in India, in last year’s November at a price of Rs. 26,490.
This means that the handset gets a price cut of Rs. 2,500. Both the smartphones are now made available for purchase on the HTC India Store.
As per specs, the HTC U Ultra runs Android 7.0 Nougat along with Sense UI customization on top. The handset features a 5.7-inch QHD (1440×2560 pixels) Super LCD display.
Powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset equipped with 4GB of RAM, the device sports 64GB of internal storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 2TB).
In terms of optics, the HTC U Ultra bears a 12-UltraPixel rear camera with 1.55-micron pixels, a BSI sensor, laser + PDAF, optical image stabilization, an f/2.8 aperture, and dual-tone LED flash.
At front, the handset packs a 16-megapixel camera with an UltraPixel mode, and a BSI sensor.
The dual-SIM HTC Desire 10 Pro device, on the other hand, offers a fingerprint sensor, and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the company’s Sense UI on top.
The device bears a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixel) IPS LCD display with a pixel density of 400ppi and Gorilla Glass for protection.
The handset is powered by 1.8GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. It also packs 64GB of internal storage that is expandable up to 2TB via microSD card.
