2017 is just around the corner and we can see Huawei already bracing themselves to hit this New Year with the best that they have to offer. As of now, we have news with regards to a new handset from this OEM with the moniker HTC One X10 to be officially announced in January 2017.
A recent invitation was spotted online with regards to this manufacturer setting out plans to hold an event on the 12th of January with the label HTC “For U”. It still remains unclear if this would be the HTC One X10 smartphone as the HTC One X9’s launching invitations had the Letter “X” put on them.
This smartphone would be aimed at the mid-tier spectrum of the market as it would be following in the stead of its predecessor, the HTC One X9. It comes in with a 5.5 inch Full HD touchscreen display which has a resolution of 1920 x 1080P.
On the back panel of the smartphone, there would be a 13 megapixel main camera which would be giving OIS capabilities. There would be a Helio P10 processor ticking under the hood clocked at a speed of 2.0 GHz and it would be aided by a Mali T-860 GPU running at 700 MHz.
Also making an appearance on the system on chip is 3GB of RAM and all these specification brings this handset to an asking price of $288 which is way cheaper than the $345 its predecessor, the X9 was asking for when it went official last year.
