Huawei Terminal Honor brand has just concluded with the release of a new handset dubbed the Honor 9i in India. To recall, the company launched the Huawei Maimang 6 handset in China last month and the Huawei Nova 2i in Malaysia this month.
Interestingly, the handset is identical to both the mobile phones mentioned above, and it highlights four cameras and a 5.9-inch FullView display that has become rampant with handsets out there.
The new Honor 9i comes with a price tag of Rs. 17,999, and is said to be made available exclusively via Flipkart starting October 14. The handset will come in color options including Platinum Gold, Navy Blue, and Midnight Black.
Taking the same pattern with the current trend, the new Honor 9i packs a FullView display as previously mentioned. The display is tagged with an 18:9 aspect ratio.
What’s more, the handset also comes with four cameras as another highlight, showing two at the front and two at the back.
Talking about specs, the handset features 5.9-inch full-HD display, and a screen resolution of 1080×2160 pixels (FHD+) tagged with a screen to body ratio of 83 percent.
At the front, the handset brings a 13-megapixel sensor paired with a 2-megapixel sensor for depth of field enabled shots. At the back area, it offers a 16-megapixel primary sensor equipped with a 2-megapixel secondary sensor.
Powered by octa-core Kirin 659 processor clocked at 2.36GHz, paired with 4GB of RAM, the new Honor 9i device also comes with 64GB of inbuilt storage and runs on EMUI 5.1 based on Android 7.0 Nougat.
The smartphone device is fitted with a 3340mAh battery that the company claims can deliver up to two days of standby time.
